I was born and raised in India. I grew up in a nurturing family environment, that instilled the importance of kindness, family values, loyalty and continued personal growth. As a child, I found such reward in making people smile that I often thought of becoming a dentist when I got older.
I earned by Bachelors and Masters of Dental Surgery degrees with Gold Medal from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India. After moving to United States to continue with my passion, I went to the University of Washington School of Dentistry, one of the top dental school in the country and got honored with Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Here I am today, with a passion for dentistry and a continual commitment to making people smile. My approach towards providing care is comprehensive and preventative and I strongly believe in the importance of listening to you and understanding your needs. My relationship with you, I hope, will be long term. As your Dentist, I would like you to know that I will continue to educate myself, keeping abreast with the most current advances dentistry has to offer.

Dr Nazifa Rai received her DDS degree from the UCSF School of Dentistry, one of the top dental schools in the US. After successfully completing the International Dentist Program in SF, she returned to her home state in WA. She has been in the dental field for almost a decade and truly cherishes the role she plays in bringing smiles to her patients. Her focus is on empowering her patients with their oral health knowledge so that they can make the best decisions for themselves. She loves spending time talking to her patients and connecting with them by finding a common ground.
She is a member of the American Dental association and American Academy of General Dentistry. Dr Rai is always working towards upscaling her knowledge and skill set by enrolling in various continuous education courses and attending conferences. Her passion to continuously improve has always helped her serve her patients better.
She was born and raised in Pakistan, and exudes the warmth of her culture in her personality. Outside of work, she spends her time with her daughter and husband, exploring different parks and neighborhoods of Seattle.”
Dr. Marashi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology From Eastern Washington University (1989), a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington (2001). Dr. Marashi also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Baylor college of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas in 2002.
Dr. Marashi was the recipient of the following awards, Charles L. Bolender Prosthetic Award (2001), Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities Award (2001) and UW School of Dentistry Student Council Student Recognition Award (2001).Dr. Marashi also holds current memberships in the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Washington State Dental Association and Seattle- King County Dental Society.
Dr. Marashi enjoys sports (especially soccer), attending concerts and traveling to major cities throughout the world.
